Design Engineer

General Job DescriptionResponsible for the ground up design of new projects and modification of previous designs.
Equipment categories include a wide range of aggregate processing equipment including Portable Washing, Screening, and Crushing Plants, a wide variety of Conveyor Equipment, as well as a wide variety of customized equipment.
Engineer will work very closely with all aspects of the management team including sales, operations, marketing, purchasing and production.

Essential Job RequirementsEssential Duties and Responsibilities Lead/complete all technical requirements of assigned projects including new product design, product enhancements, and cost reductions in compliance with Product Development Process.
Develop innovative products from concept to a manufacturing ready product while assuring design intent/integrity is maintained.
Provide project leadership for responsible program goals.
Develop product qualification tests and test procedures for new products.
Analyze test data and prepare recommendations for approval.
Evaluate market driven features/options and recommend improvements to Masaba products where applicable.
Maintain working relationships with Suppliers, Vendors, Customers, and all internal departments.
Maintain design documentation, to include 2-D layouts and/or 3-D CAD design, product specifications and test specifications.
Assist in identifying new technologies to improve time to market including software tools, manufacturing processes, supplier components, prototyping and vendor capabilities.
Support internal departments with technical information.
Work collectively with Purchasing to define quality vendors for component parts and assemblies.
Organize and maintain BOM and cost estimates for new products.
Initiate and implement design related cost reduction and quality improvement ideas.
Assist in the training and provide guidance to new or less experienced engineers.
Assist Manufacturing during production orders, on design changes, or new product introductions as required.
Comply with all safety rules and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.

ANSYS (Preferred, not required) 2D/CAD (AutoCAD) 3D (Inventor/Solidworks, Pro-E) Vault/Data Management (recommended) Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) Microsoft Office:
Excel, Word, PowerPoint Ability to work with hands, hand tools and/or machine tools.
Ability to weld a plus.
Language SkillsAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical SkillsAbility to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning AbilityAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer SkillsTo perform this job successfully, an individual should have experience with 2D AutoCAD and 3D (Inventor (recommended), Solid Works, Pro E, Etc.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
